A locum tenens Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position in outpatient occupational health, based in Springfield, Ohio. The role involves autonomous practice in a non-trauma outpatient clinic setting, providing care to adult patients with a focus on occupational health. The provider will work independently with off-site physician supervision, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient occupational health services to adult patients, averaging 15 patients per day.
• Manage patient documentation using the Systoc EMR system.
• Work autonomously in a non-trauma outpatient clinic setting.
• Ensure compliance with vaccination requirements, including flu and COVID vaccines.
• Maintain certification and licensure requirements, including BLS, ACLS, and DOT as applicable.
• Adhere to all safety and health protocols relevant to occupational health practice.
• Coordinate with off-site supervising physicians as needed.
• Complete all documentation and reporting accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Vaccinations: flu required at credentialing; COVID highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
