A full-time anesthesiologist position at a 600-bed Level 2 Trauma hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role involves working within a care team model alongside CRNAs and anesthesia techs, providing anesthesia services across multiple subspecialties. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with flexible options including straight shifts or week-on/week-off arrangements. No call, nights, or weekends are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across various subspecialties including general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, thoracic, endoscopic, urology, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and cardiac anesthesia.
• Collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and anesthesia technicians in a collegial environment.
• Participate in medical direction within a care team model.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.
• Maintain credentialing requirements, with a typical process duration of 60-90 days.
• Contribute to patient safety and quality care in a high-volume hospital setting.
• Work scheduled 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling options.
• No call, night, or weekend shifts required.
