This is a contract position for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in an outpatient clinic setting in Chicago, Illinois. The role involves providing immediate care and primary care services to an underserved population, with a focus on women's and children's health. The provider will see low-acuity walk-in patients in a high-volume practice, with hospital privileges available if desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care and primary care services in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Manage a high volume of patients, approximately 24-32 per 8-hour day.
• Deliver walk-in acute care services for low-acuity cases.
• Focus on women's and children's healthcare needs.
• Work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with Saturday shifts from 8 am to 12 pm, expanding to 8 am to 8 pm on weekdays.
• Serve an underserved population in the community.
• Possibility to obtain hospital privileges if desired.

Compensation

• Hourly rate ranging from $70.00 to $90.00, depending on experience and qualifications.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an APRN or PA in Illinois.
• Ability to work in an outpatient, high-volume clinic setting.
• Experience with primary care and urgent care services preferred.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage walk-in patients.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including Saturdays and extended weekday hours.
• Ability to handle low-acuity, walk-in cases efficiently.
