Gastroenterology Physician & APP

Dignity Health, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking Gastroenterology Physicians and Advanced Practice Practitioners (NPs and PAs) for outpatient and inpatient roles across various locations in California. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform endoscopic procedures and other gastroenterological interventions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding gastrointestinal health.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Current California medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience or training in gastrointestinal diagnostics and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• For APPs, current certification as NP or PA and relevant clinical experience.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of clinical settings and schedules.
