Carolina QuickCare is seeking licensed Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP-C) and Physician Assistants (PA-C) to provide urgent care services across North Carolina. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, performing procedures, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and documenting encounters in the EMR. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within a rapidly expanding network of clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to urgent care
  • Perform procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, and wound care
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and provide patient education
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient operations and patient satisfaction

Compensation

  • Hourly pay: $55-$75/hour (~$103K-$140K/year), depending on experience and clinic location
  • Additional income opportunities include sign-on bonuses, relocation support, productivity bonuses, loan repayment assistance, and CME allowances
  • Compensation is provided as a W-2 salary

Requirements

  • Licensed FNP-C or PA-C in North Carolina
  • Active DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications
  • Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Certification
  • 1+ year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient service skills
  • DOT certification a plus
