The Hospitals of Providence – Specialty/Sierra Campus in El Paso, TX, is seeking full-time Anesthesiologists Assistant (CAA) to join a team providing anesthesia services across a diverse range of surgical subspecialties. The role involves working in a high-acuity, team-based environment with opportunities for professional growth and leadership, supporting a variety of complex cases in a supportive clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia support for a wide range of surgical procedures including orthopedic, neurosurgery, cardiology, urology, thoracic, and GI endoscopy.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia team members to deliver safe, effective anesthesia care in a high-acuity environment.
  • Participate in preoperative assessments and intraoperative management of patients.
  • Manage anesthesia during elective and emergent neurointerventional procedures.
  • Support anesthesia care for structural and electrophysiology cardiology cases such as TAVRs.
  • Assist in spine, thoracic, and minimally invasive surgeries, including robotic procedures.
  • Work in a team-based setting with opportunities for autonomy, especially at Specialty Campus.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives.

Compensation

  • Base salary ranging from $270,000 to $425,000 annually (W-2 model with full benefits).
  • Sign-on bonus of $30,000 with a two-year commitment.
  • Overtime paid at $163 per hour for hours beyond 80 per pay period.
  • Additional income opportunities may include relocation support and CME allowance.

  • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including call shifts.
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to adapt to different clinical settings within the hospital campuses.
  • Prior experience with neurointerventional and cardiology procedures is a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
