This position is for an independent contractor anesthesia advanced practice provider (CRNA or AA) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care under the supervision of anesthesiologists. The provider will care for patients across various acuity levels in diverse clinical settings, including surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preoperative data collection and documentation.
• Review, request, and order laboratory and diagnostic studies as permitted by law.
• Administer pre-anesthetic medications and develop anesthesia care plans.
• Prepare and operate anesthesia equipment, monitors, and supplies, performing safety checks.
• Administer analgesic and anesthetic agents, fluids, and blood products as needed.
• Perform airway management and facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
• Evaluate patient response post-anesthesia and provide necessary pharmacological or supportive interventions.
• Manage regional anesthetic techniques within clinical privileges.

Requirements

• Georgia licensure as a CRNA or Anesthesiologist Assistant, or certification by NCCAA.
