Greenstaff Medical is seeking five experienced Physician Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) for locum emergency medicine coverage in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves working in a high-acuity trauma-capable Emergency Department, collaborating with residents and attending physicians, and providing acute care in a fast-paced environment. The position offers flexible shifts and is suitable for providers certified in emergency or acute care medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in a high-acuity trauma environment, including managing trauma patients and acute cases.
• Collaborate with EM residents and attending physicians to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR system.
• Participate in shift coverage as scheduled, including triage and full shift hours.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain certification requirements such as ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
• Contribute to patient flow and clinical efficiency within the emergency department.
• Assist in managing patient admissions and discharges as needed.
• Maintain professional standards and ensure quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation

• $135 per hour (1099 contract).

Shift & Schedule

• Variable shifts, including 12-hour coverage periods.
• Shifts may include daytime, evening, and overnight hours.
• Coverage model includes 36 hours of EM resident coverage and 36 hours of APP coverage per week.

Requirements

• Active certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP).
• Valid ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS credentials.
• Prior experience in high-acuity trauma or emergency medicine preferred.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system.
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents and physicians.
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including day and night coverage.
• Current licensure and certification to practice in Oklahoma.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
