Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group's Department of Radiology is seeking a full-time, certified Radiology Physician Assistant (RPA) for an Interventional Radiology role. The position involves performing and assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using advanced imaging technologies under supervision, with graded autonomy after training. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiologists with invasive and non-invasive procedures using ultrasound, X-ray/fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI.
• Evaluate and triage new IR consults and assist in patient assessment.
• Educate patients about upcoming procedures, including process, purpose, and patient instructions.
• Assist in follow-up care after procedures.
• Evaluate image quality and report findings to the supervising radiologist.
• Perform initial patient evaluations and obtain accurate patient information.
• Position patients and measure accurately for contrast injections and other procedures.
• Work closely with patients to address concerns and provide compassionate care.

Compensation

• $110,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience and faculty rank.
