RP Sol is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant in Tucson, AZ, to support a growing practice. The role involves performing fluoroscopic and invasive procedures under radiologist supervision, monitoring patients, and providing technical feedback on imaging studies. The position offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative, subspecialty radiology team in a community-focused healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluoroscopic and invasive procedures such as GI, GU, HSG, arthrograms, joint injections/aspirations, contrast injections, and assist with ultrasound/CT-guided biopsies and tunneled catheter placements.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Review imaging studies and provide technical feedback to assist radiologists in interpretation.
• Educate patients on their medical care and ensure completion of necessary documentation.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and healthcare team members.
• Assist with quality control tasks and support daily scheduling within the radiology department.
• Support multi-modality imaging (CT, MRI) as needed for other departments.
• Willingness to learn new US-guided procedures and expand skill set over time.

Compensation

• Salary commensurate with experience.
• W-2 employment tax status.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ARC-accredited Physician Assistant program with active NCCPA certification.
• Current Arizona medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
• DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification.
• Prior experience in Interventional Radiology, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, or similar fields preferred.
• Proficiency with fluoroscopic and invasive radiology procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to monitor patient reactions and provide compassionate patient care.
• Willingness to learn new procedures and adapt to a multi-modality imaging environment.
• Knowledge of radiology safety protocols and patient monitoring.
