This is a full-time anesthesiology position based in a hospital setting, involving a variety of surgical cases including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, breast, gynecology, neurosurgery, and obstetrics. The role operates within a care team model with independent placement of labor epidurals and anesthesiologist support. Candidates must hold an active Maryland license and be prepared for a credentialing process of approximately 60 days or more.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for a range of surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, urological, breast, gynecological, neurosurgical, and obstetric cases.
• Perform labor epidurals independently within the care team model.
• Collaborate with the care team and anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Manage preoperative assessments and postoperative care as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements.
• Participate in credentialing and compliance processes.
• Work scheduled Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
