A CRNA position in Dayton, Ohio, offering locum tenens opportunities starting July 1, 2025. The role involves providing anesthesia services across various surgical specialties, with flexible scheduling options including full-time or alternating two-week shifts. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided, and the position does not require night or weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for procedures including orthopedics, spine, urology, plastics, general surgery, and GYN (excluding OB).
• Manage preoperative assessments and anesthesia plans for diverse surgical cases.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with anesthesia protocols.
• Document anesthesia care and related patient information accurately.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate anesthesia services.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper sterilization procedures.
• Participate in post-anesthesia patient recovery and monitoring.

Compensation

• Compensation model: Other (1099 tax status).

Shift & Schedule

• Flexible scheduling with options for full-time or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off shifts.
• Schedule primarily days, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• DNP degree required.
• Active Ohio medical license.
• Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Experience with a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics, spine, urology, plastics, general surgery, and GYN.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hospital setting.
• Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Availability to start July 1, 2025, and work 40 shifts per month.
• Must have reliable transportation and flexibility for travel as needed.
