The Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical services at the Franklin County Crisis Care Center, including assessment, medication management, recovery planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes engagement and support for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, utilizing recovery coaching principles. This part-time, Saturday shift offers competitive hourly compensation within a structured clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, differential diagnosis, and recovery service planning for individuals in crisis.
• Prescribe and administer medications according to treatment plans.
• Coordinate with external medical and nursing support services, including pharmacy and laboratory support.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, accreditation standards, and emergency response protocols.
• Document clinical encounters accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve recovery outcomes and clinical efficiency.
• Use recovery coaching techniques to foster recovery partnerships and supportive environments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation

• Hourly wage between $84.00 and $87.00 per hour.
• W-2 employment tax status.
• Compensation based on experience, licensure, and organizational needs.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution with training as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
• Current and valid state-specific RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses; PMHNP certification required.
• DEA registration and appropriate psychiatric care certification (PMHNP).
• Experience in acute psychiatric settings and addiction treatment preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills, documentation, and problem-solving.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with strong listening skills.
• Ability to pass de-escalation training and understand involuntary commitment procedures.
• Must meet all credentialing, background check, and drug testing requirements, including a seven-year background check and, if applicable, driving record review.
• Must be at least 18 years old (or age specified by state regulations).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including contact with agitated or confused individuals.
