This full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP), including Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), will provide outpatient and hospital-based care at OhioHealth. The role involves rounding at Doctors Hospital and seeing follow-up patients at the Hilliard Clinic, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, without weekend or call responsibilities. The provider collaborates with physicians to deliver quality care for acute and chronic conditions in accordance with state laws and practice agreements.

Responsibilities

• Rounding at Doctors Hospital and managing follow-up outpatient patients at Hilliard Clinic.
• Collaborating with physicians in the outpatient setting to care for acute and chronic illnesses.
• Performing services authorized by supervising or collaborating physicians within the scope of practice.
• Promoting quality outcomes and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Practicing within applicable state laws, board regulations, and delineated privileges.
• Working in a 50% ambulatory clinic and 50% hospital-based capacity.
• Adhering to supervision agreements or standard care arrangements with physicians.
• Providing patient care during scheduled daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
• Current APRN license in the State of Ohio or Physician Assistant certification.
• Certification from NCCPA or equivalent credentialing body.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians in outpatient and hospital settings.
• Practicing within applicable state laws and practice agreements.
• Experience or training in managing acute and chronic conditions preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to quality care and continuous learning.
• Full-time availability, Monday through Friday, dayshift schedule.
