Modesto Mind Body is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Interventional Psychiatry Clinic, focusing on integrating medical and mental health treatments such as IV ketamine infusions and intranasal esketamine. The role involves supervising interventional treatments, managing patient care, and participating in policy development within a collaborative outpatient environment. Training in interventional psychiatry will be provided, with opportunities to lead a satellite clinic in California's Central Valley.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all elements and staff involved in interventional treatments, with training provided
• Manage patient care directly, including assessments and treatment planning
• Obtain and manage consents for new patients
• Conduct evaluation and management (E&M) encounters for interventional treatments and medication management
• Perform patient assessments and document care in accordance with professional standards
• Assist in developing and reviewing clinical policies, procedures, and protocols
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical risk management activities

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or higher
• Active California PA license
• DEA and CDS licenses
• Current NCCPA board certification
• Experience managing psychiatric patients and treatments or strong interest in mental health
• Ability to function independently in an outpatient psychiatric setting
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies and confidentiality standards
• Comfortable with technology platforms including EHR systems, Chromebooks, and messaging tools
