ECPI University in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant faculty member to contribute to the development, delivery, and evaluation of the PA program curriculum. The role involves academic instruction, program assessment, student advisement, and participation in accreditation and committee activities. The position requires active clinical and professional engagement to support student success and program excellence.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing, reviewing, and revising the program's mission, goals, and competencies.
• Collaborate with the Program Director and faculty to oversee curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with accreditation standards.
• Provide feedback on course materials, standards of practice, and student achievement of learning outcomes.
• Review and provide feedback on syllabi, instructional materials, and teaching methods for didactic and clinical courses.
• Participate in student recruitment, admission, and advisement activities.
• Contribute to the Curriculum Review Committee for ongoing program assessment and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Partner with the Clinical Coordinator to facilitate a seamless transition from didactic to clinical phases.
• Maintain current clinical skills, participate in professional development, and engage in scholarly activities.

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation (W-2 tax status).

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time, on-site position based at Virginia Beach, VA campus.

Requirements

• Licensed physician (allopathic or osteopathic) with current licensure.
• Board certification by an ABMS or AOA-approved specialty board if a physician.
• NCCPA certification or equivalent for Physician Assistants.
• Minimum of two years of clinical occupational experience.
• Qualified to teach assigned subjects through academic preparation or professional experience.
• Knowledge of Physician Assistant education, including legislative and regulatory issues.
• Active clinical practice experience as a preceptor with a valid license at the clinical site.
• Ability to develop and deliver evidence-based instruction and provide student remediation.
• Participation in professional growth activities such as workshops, conferences, and memberships.
• Familiarity with accreditation standards and program assessment processes.
