AdventHealth Medical Group in Daytona Beach, Florida, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive women's health services, including obstetrics, gynecology, and family planning. The role involves managing low-risk labor and delivery independently, collaborating with physicians, and participating in hospital rounds and call coverage within a faith-based, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, gynecological, and family planning services.
• Manage and support low-risk labor and delivery patients independently, with physician collaboration for high-risk cases.
• Perform routine women's health care, including annual exams, contraceptive counseling, and menopausal management.
• Participate in hospital call coverage and rounding responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care.
• Counsel patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention to promote wellness.
• Adapt care delivery across inpatient and outpatient settings based on patient needs.

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation (W-2 tax status).

Shift & Schedule

• Variable schedule days.
• Call coverage required.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited nurse-midwifery program.
• Current, valid Florida RN and APRN licensure.
• Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) as a CNM.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of midwifery experience preferred; strong clinical rotations considered for new graduates.
• Experience in labor & delivery, prenatal care, and women's health services.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-based care model.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to inpatient and outpatient care needs.
