The Planned Parenthood of Southern New England is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive reproductive health care at our Danbury, CT Health Center. The clinician will deliver patient-centered services, support clinical training, and ensure compliance with medical standards, contributing to our mission of providing high-quality sexual and reproductive health services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality direct patient care, including physical exams, laboratory testing, and interpretation of results.
  • Perform and interpret limited pelvic ultrasounds and support medication abortion services.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including patient education and referrals.
  • Document patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
  • Support clinical quality assurance and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA standards.
  • Partner with the Center Manager in supervising clinical staff and training volunteers and learners.
  • Participate in efforts to improve patient access and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support a culturally and linguistically competent care environment, demonstrating understanding of racial equity and diversity.

Compensation

  • $88,036 to $146,727 annually, based on experience.
  • Starting salary for new graduates approximately $117,380.
  • Includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
  • Offers loan repayment assistance through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program.
  • Compensation is paid as a W-2 salary with no negotiations due to pay equity policies.

  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Record systems, preferably EPIC.
  • Commitment to the mission of PPSNE and supporting reproductive health services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support a diverse patient population.
