HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, Florida is seeking a full-time Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join a team of anesthesiologists and anesthetists. The role involves providing anesthesia services across a diverse case mix in a Level II Trauma Center within a growing community, emphasizing collaborative practice and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures including trauma, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, GI, and neurovascular cases.
• Participate in a collaborative anesthesia team, sharing clinical responsibilities and supporting team members.
• Contribute to patient safety and quality care in a hospital setting with a diverse surgical volume.
• Assist in preoperative assessment and postoperative care as part of the anesthesia team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient records.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and clinical best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training activities.
• Support the hospital’s trauma and expanding specialty services.

Compensation

• Hourly rate of USD 150.00, with extra shifts available at this rate.
