This anesthesia practice at Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center in Macon, GA, is seeking certified anesthesiologist assistants to provide comprehensive anesthesia services. The role involves pre-anesthesia assessments, patient consultations, and anesthesia management across a variety of surgical specialties in a large, Level I Trauma Center with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients
• Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patients' physiological conditions throughout procedures
• Perform clinical interventions as needed during anesthesia care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a care team model
• Ensure compliance with licensure and professional guidelines
• Support patient safety and care quality initiatives

Compensation

• $200 per hour
• W-2 employment with fully paid malpractice insurance

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
• Compliance with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines

• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred
• Licensure or certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant
