The Providence Medical Group in Springboro is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide primary and acute healthcare services. The role involves managing health conditions, performing assessments, ordering diagnostics, and counseling patients within a patient-centered, team-based environment. The position emphasizes building long-term patient relationships and practicing within a collaborative care model.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and perform assessments through observation, interview, and examination.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies; conduct preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations.
• Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions, including prescribing medications and referring to other providers or community resources.
• Counsel and educate patients and their families on health, wellness, treatment options, and available resources.
• Promote age- and culture-appropriate informed decision-making and shared care planning.
• Maintain professionalism, demonstrating poise, tact, and diplomacy in patient interactions.
• Convey information effectively in both written and verbal communication, handling sensitive situations with confidentiality.
• Practice within the guidelines of a Standard Care Arrangement with a collaborating physician and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with specialization in the practice area.
• State licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or as required by law.
