Unified Women's Healthcare in Cape Coral, FL, is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. The role involves prenatal, labor, delivery, postpartum, and reproductive health services within a well-established practice serving the Cape Coral and Fort Myers communities. The position offers a flexible 3- or 4-day work week, hospital-based deliveries at Cape Coral Hospital, and a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care to obstetric patients.
  • Assist with births and manage low-risk obstetric cases at Cape Coral Hospital.
  • Offer gynecologic and reproductive health care, treatment, and education to women.
  • Collaborate with a team of physicians, midwives, and PAs in a large practice setting.
  • Participate in a call schedule of one day per week with a post-call day off and a 1:6 weekend call rotation.
  • Support patient education and counseling on reproductive health topics.
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with clinical protocols.
  • Possibly manage high-risk obstetric cases transferred to a tertiary center.

Compensation

  • $137,000 annual salary based on a 4-day work week
  • Paid time off
  • $2,000 CME reimbursement annually plus paid time off
  • W-2 employment with tax withholding
  • Compensation includes a CME allowance

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a CNM.
  • Graduate of an ACNM-accredited nurse-midwifery education program.
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN).
  • Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Florida.
  • AMCB certification as a Nurse Midwife.
  • Current CPR and NALS certifications.
  • Current or ability to obtain an unrestricted DEA license.
  • Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
