We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a full-time, permanent Walk-In Rural Health Clinic in Western New Mexico. The provider will deliver primary and urgent care services to a rural community, contributing to patient education and community health. The position offers a competitive compensation package with sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and loan repayment options.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and urgent care services to patients in a rural walk-in clinic setting.
• Manage routine and urgent medical needs of patients.
• Educate and empower patients regarding their health and treatment options.
• Deliver care in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatments.
• Adhere to clinic protocols and healthcare regulations.
• Participate in community health initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care.
• Ability to work in a rural healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Current state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in New Mexico.
• Comfortable working variable hours (32-40 hours per week).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to participate in community health efforts.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
