U.S. Anesthesia Partners (USAP) is a physician-owned, clinician-led national anesthesia services organization that provides perioperative anesthesia care across inpatient and outpatient settings. According to USAP, its clinicians (anesthesiologists, CRNAs and CAAs) deliver care in more than 600 facilities across multiple states and perform over 2 million cases annually. The organization lists more than 5,000 clinicians and offers coverage across a broad range of anesthesiology subspecialties including cardiovascular, neurosurgery, obstetrics, orthopedics, pediatrics, transplant and intensive care management. USAP partners with physician groups, hospitals, health systems and ambulatory surgery centers and lists institutional capital partners (including Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, Berkshire Partners, and GIC) while stating that physician partners remain the largest shareholder group.
