Silver Cross Hospital is an independent, not-for-profit regional medical center based in New Lenox, Illinois, serving Will County and southwest Chicago suburbs. The campus includes a roughly 348-bed acute care hospital and multiple outpatient and specialty sites. Clinical services include comprehensive heart and vascular care, cancer care in partnership with academic centers, a Level II trauma-designated emergency department, and a Level III 24-bed neonatal intensive care unit staffed in collaboration with pediatric specialists. Silver Cross supports a large community medical staff and operates an integrated Silver Cross Medical Group; the organization reports several hundred affiliated providers and more than 4,000 employees, physicians, and volunteers. The Silver Cross Foundation functions as the hospital’s 501(c)(3) fundraising arm.
