Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR) is a large, multi site orthopedic practice founded in Chicago in 2003 and aligned with Rush University Medical Center. MOR comprises internationally recognized orthopedic and spine surgeons who serve as faculty in Rush University Medical Center's Department of Orthopedic Surgery and as team physicians for professional organizations including the Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Red Stars, Chicago Dogs, and Joffrey Ballet. The group operates multiple full service clinics and stand alone physical therapy locations across the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana, an onsite Gold Coast Surgicenter certified for total joint replacement, and reports serving more than 85,000 patients annually with over 19,500 surgical procedures as of 2023. MOR is part of the OrthoMidwest unified entity with Rockford Orthopedic Associates while retaining clinical autonomy and a strong focus on clinical research and education.
