Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) is the flagship academic medical center of Dartmouth Health, located on a 225-acre campus in Lebanon, New Hampshire. DHMC is a tertiary referral and teaching hospital affiliated with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, operating approximately 507 inpatient beds and New Hampshire’s only Level I adult trauma center and Level II pediatric trauma center. The campus includes The Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock (CHaD) and the Dartmouth Cancer Center, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. DHMC provides broad primary, specialty, and subspecialty services for northern New England and supports residency and fellowship training and research programs in partnership with Dartmouth.
