Capital Health is a nonprofit regional health system serving central New Jersey and lower Bucks County, with two acute hospitals (Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton and Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell in Pennington), an outpatient campus in Hamilton, and multiple primary and specialty care practices. The system operates a Level II regional trauma center, a regional perinatal program including a Level III NICU, a comprehensive stroke center, and New Jersey’s first autism-friendly pediatric emergency department. Capital Health fields clinical institutes for neurosciences, heart and vascular care, cancer, breast care, and joint replacement, and its medical group comprises more than 600 physicians and other clinicians. The organization holds multiple national accreditations and recognitions, including Magnet designation for nursing and national awards for stroke and cardiac care, and maintains clinical affiliations with medical education programs for training and residencies.
