AmeriWound is a national wound care provider based in Mayfield Heights, OH that delivers physician directed wound care to residents in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and other long term care settings. The organization contracts with facilities across multiple states and staffs a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management for pressure, arterial, venous, diabetic, surgical and other chronic non healing wounds. AmeriWound operates an accredited wound education and training program for providers and facility nursing staff and reports performance metrics such as days to healing. Leadership includes founder and CEO Milton Schachter and a medical director who is a board certified surgeon and certified wound specialist.
