Providence Community Health Centers (PCHC) is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center system headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, founded in 1968. PCHC operates multiple neighborhood health centers including dental and school-based clinics and the 26,600 ft2 PCHC Atwood site. Services include family and adult medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, behavioral health, dental, optometry, and express (urgent) care, plus selected subspecialty clinics (eg, nephrology, rheumatology, dermatology). PCHC serves tens of thousands of patients citywide, participates in PCMH accreditation, and runs training programs such as an NP residency.
